ESi Technology Wins Silver in Taipei Workplace Gender Equality Certification

Gender equality in practice: ESi Technology builds a diverse, inclusive and supportive workplace

“Equality,” “diversity” and “inclusion” have always been among the core values of ESi Technology. With these as our starting point, the company has introduced a range of gender equality policies to create a supportive, gender-equal workplace, and we are honored to have received the silver award in the “2024 (ROC year 113) Taipei City Workplace Gender Equality Certification” from the Department of Labor, Taipei City Government.

ESi knows that a supportive workplace is not just a slogan; it takes real policies to create an environment employees genuinely feel. That is why the company has established a system of positions and grades that gives every employee a fair starting point, so that pay and promotion are based on individual performance and not affected by factors such as gender or age. In line with laws and regulations, we also actively work to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace and regularly hold gender equality training and awareness sessions to raise employees’ awareness, with the aim of rooting respect and inclusion in our corporate culture.

On family-friendly policies, ESi gives expectant mothers a small gift to celebrate the news, and employees returning from parental leave receive a return-to-work bonus. Employees are also encouraged to bring their families on the annual overseas company trip and to the annual health checkup. In addition, fully paid sick leave and fully paid menstrual leave that go beyond the Labor Standards Act, birthday leave, flexible working hours and more help employees balance work and family life, so they can reach their full potential at work without worry and further strengthen team cohesion.
